Something about the cleaning procedure on our boats

The safety of our customers and employees is our top priority.

We have already taken measures following best practices and recommendations of WHO and The National Public Health Organization (NPHO) with regards to yacht interior cleaning procedures for regular and periodic cleaning between charters and disinfection in order to achieving high standards of hygiene and sanitation

The check in and the office

  • When checking in, only 1 or 2 guests (max) from guests’ party should come into the office to handle the paperwork with the rest remaining outside in the fresh air. In order to make it even safer, we kindly ask you to send all the necessary documents like passport copies and crew lists upfront.
  • We disinfect the office before opening and after work.
  • We regularly disinfect the flat surfaces in the office during the day.
  • We have close to the office a stand with the sanitizer.Guests who enter our office area are asked to sanitize their hands.
  • Masks and gloves will be at your disposal at office entrance. Its preferable to use the gloves during handling the paperwork /cash/credit card
  • Cleaning staff wear masks and gloves.
  • You will be asked to fill in a Pre Health questionnaire and keep it together with the crew list and the yacht papers.
  • On board there will be all the necessary info and action plan for covid 19 cases.
  • We display Covid-19 measures recommendation from the local health institute on yachts and in the office. Videos from WHO and NPHO

The staff

  • We ask the hired crew to measure the temperature before charter.
  • All staff measure their temperature before going to work, we keep the 1,5 m distance and wash our hands regularly as well as using sanitizers.
  • All technical staff at check in wear masks.

Yacht preparation and cleaning

  • Our experienced technical and cleaning support will make all the preparations according to the highest standards, all the contact areas will be additionally checked and cleaned with disinfectant.
  • Cleaning staff wear masks and gloves.
  • Cabins: fresh and clean linens and towels supplied in protective wrapping, disinfection of all doors, knobs, cabinets, and exposed surfaces.
  • Interior Saloon: detailed cleaning and disinfection of navigation table including switches on the instrument panel and navigation equipment and all the electric switches and fuses.
  • Kitchen: all stuff (plates, glasses, knives, spoons ...) tableware will be cleaned with hot water and detergent, cabinets holding cutlery thoroughly cleaned and special attention will be given to the fridge and stove.
  • Toilets and showers: we have always cleaned and disinfected them with special care
  • Cockpit: cleaned as always, specially the common touchpoints such as steering wheel, navigation instruments, buttons, VHF, winch handles, all railings, etc.
